Best Practice for Teaching Reading to Young Learners

Reading in today's world is a lot of things - it's bottom-up, top-down, nonlinear and multi-modal. In this session, we will explore how each of these ideas influences how we teach reading and, using examples from a student book, we will see how we can engage students in interactive readingexperiences that use pre-reading, during-reading and post-reading tasks to build their reading abilities.
