In recent years there has been a growing buzz around the need to develop our students’ oracy skills. But what exactly is oracy and why is it such an important skill to develop for school, work and life? With examples from NGL’s Look series, in this presentation I’ll answer these questions before looking at how we can integrate oracy skills into the classroom and support our learners in becoming great speakers, listeners and thinkers.
