Research shows that social-emotional learning (SEL) is increasingly vital in young people’s lives inside and outside of school. But what is SEL, and what can teachers do to help? In this session, we look briefly at the importance of developing social-emotional skills. We will then look at a range of approaches and activities for incorporating social-emotional skills into lessons for young learners.
