Ready for School, Ready for Life: Strong Foundations with Academic English

Students may not remember every fact they hear in the classroom, but the academic and life skills they learn can last a lifetime. Our panel this month are industry experts Ed Brown, Curriculum Development Coordinator at RMIT English, and Laura Le Dréan, National Geographic Learning’s Executive Editor for the new academic English program, Reflect. We will be discussing the unique challenges and benefits of academic English including topics such as what makes an academic program successful, which skills do students need at university and beyond, and which content and topics resonate most with learners. Join us to hear unique perspectives into how academic English programs are developed and delivered to maximize learner success.
