Photos are amazing tools for education, providing authentic content that is visually engaging and appealing, and can even tell a story. And today, photos are easier to access (and take!) than ever before, offering a huge variety of resources for teachers. This makes photos ideal for bringing variety into your classes and encouraging communication. In this session, you will describe photos and speculate about what’s going on in photos. You'll talk about which photos you like and dislike, and even lie to your classmates about photos! We’ll use photos to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Our examples are aimed at upper primary students, but teachers who teach lower primary students can easily adapt these for their students.
