Content Based Instruction (CBI) is a specific approach to learning that, in different combinations, brings together the objectives of teaching a subject and teaching a language. We want to dig into this topic a bit more with an experienced teacher and teacher trainer, Andrew Tiffany, in order to learn more about the realities of teaching in this context. There are teachers and education institutions across Vietnam who engage in this practice every day, but they are not always the center of attention when training language teachers. We hope our first episode will be informative to those initially learning about CBI and useful for teachers actively engaged in this kind of instruction.
