Managing students’ behavior is one of the most important things that teachers do. Without behavior management, it’s difficult to get anything else done in class. But managing behavior is not enough. We need to manage behavior positively if we are to create an environment conducive to learning. In this webinar, participants will learn how to manage behavior positively and proactively. The webinar will start by exploring the reasons why students may misbehave. We will then look at how to encourage positive behavior by making students feel involved, giving learners choices, and integrating an appropriate level of challenge in language lessons. Throughout the webinar, Ross will also demonstrate techniques for encouraging positive behavior. We will also look at how to adapt these techniques to different levels and age groups.
